Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how PBPB Pty Ltd ABN 53 680 208 860 ("PBPB", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on Plan G and its associated applications (collectively, the "Service").
Please review this policy before continuing to use the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
1What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you access a website or application. They are widely used to make websites and apps work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide usage information to site operators.
Similar technologies — such as web beacons, pixel tags and local storage — work in a comparable way and are also covered by this policy.
2How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- keep you signed in to your account across pages and sessions;
- remember your preferences and settings (such as display preferences);
- maintain the security of your session and protect against unauthorised access;
- understand how users interact with the Service so we can improve it;
- detect and investigate errors and performance issues; and
- enforce our Terms of Use and prevent abuse.
We do not use cookies to serve advertising or to track your activity across unrelated third-party websites.
3Types of Cookies We Use
4Third-Party Cookies
Some features of the Service rely on third-party providers who may also set cookies on your device. These providers have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review.
PBPB does not control third-party cookies and is not responsible for the data collected by third-party providers. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5Managing Cookies
- Browser controls. You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear cookies when you close the browser. Instructions are available in your browser's help section.
- Impact of disabling cookies. Disabling essential cookies (session, CSRF and security cookies) will prevent you from logging in and using the Service. Disabling preference and analytics cookies will not affect core functionality but may mean some settings are not retained between visits.
- Do Not Track. Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. The Service does not currently alter its behaviour in response to DNT signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation of this signal in Australia. Our use of analytics data is limited to aggregated, anonymised reporting in any case.
- Mobile devices. If you access the Service on a mobile device, you may be able to control cookie-like technologies through your device's privacy settings. Refer to your device manufacturer's documentation for guidance.
6Changes to This Policy
- PBPB may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. For material changes — such as adding new categories of non-essential cookies or new third-party providers — we will provide at least 30 days' written notice to the email address associated with your account before the changes take effect. For minor, non-material changes (such as clarifications), we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and the changes will take effect on publication. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
- Continued use of the Service after the applicable notice period constitutes your acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy.
